Earlier this year, we announced the launch of The Food Loft Mentor Network. This group of experienced business leaders is here to help emerging food startups with just about any question, problem or startup challenge imaginable. From branding and marketing to ecommerce, sales/distribution, packaging, technology and more, if your food startup has a need, we likely have a solution.
The launch of the Mentor Network has also been met with some skepticism. -- What's the catch?-- Is it really free? (Yes!) And open to anyone in the food community? (Yes!). You don’t have to be in Boston to take advantage of the Mentor Network. And you don’t have to be working in our Boston coworking space either, though we have a fun community and thoughtfully-designed events that you should come check out sometime.
So why are we doing this then? Because we know that launching a food startup is hard. And it can oftentimes feel like a lonely pursuit for solo founders. We believe that by bringing the food community together, we can all benefit and create a better food system. Our mentors believe this, too, and are excited to help food startups work through business challenges and reach new levels of success.
Ready to get started?
First, take a look at our Mentor page. Next, reach out to us directly with the specific issues/problems you're trying to address, and the mentor(s) you'd like to be introduced. We'll take it from there and provide you a direct connection where relevant.
Or, if you're not sure where to start, just drop us a note to schedule a quick call to find the best fit with individual mentors. These calls take less than 15 minutes (but can always be longer if you'd like!) and we promise to make it worth your time in information and connections.
