Hosted by New Entry Sustainable Farming Project and supported by USDA's National Institute of Food and Agriculture, this three day conference will explore the intersection of sustainable agriculture, food security, and social justice. Connect with likeminded forward thinkers and discuss underlying themes such as obstacles in both rural and urban communities which concern the sustainable food industry or learn to foster community empowerment towards improving local food systems.
Topics addressed in presentations and workshops will include community partnerships, "farm-to-all", food justice, movement building, social enterprise, policy, measuring impacts, labor, and youth in the food industry.
There are different types of registration packages and events offered over the course of the conference. Prices vary depending on package and/or event. Full priced registration including access to all events costs $310.
