HackBeanpot 2018 (FREE)

  • Genuine 500 Harrison Avenue #5r Boston, MA 02118 (map)

Join us for a weekend of making, designing, learning, and fun at the 6th annual HackBeanpot, hosted once again by Genuine in Boston's South End. HackBeanpot is overnight this year, so bring your toothbrush and sleeping bag, but don't worry about the food--we've got you covered with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus snacks in between. We have a bunch of tech talks, workshops, and fun activities planned so that you can learn some new skills or spend some time relaxing. We also will have lots of mentors from local Boston tech companies who are eager to share their knowledge and expertise to help your projects become great. If you can't already tell, we're very excited for HackBeanpot 2018, and we can't wait to see you there!

Do I need to find a team before I come to HackBeanpot?

No! We dedicate time right at the beginning of the event for ideation and team formation, so you can get together with other cool people and form a team from there. Of course, you are free to put a team together before the event if you already have teammates in mind, and teams will also be welcome at the ideation sessions if you're looking to add one or two more members.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You must be at least 16 years old by the time of the event to participate in HackBeanpot. If you are under 18, you will need a parent or guardian to sign your release form. If this applies to you, please contact us in advance of the event at team(at)hackbeanpot(dot)com in order to arrange the paperwork.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Genuine's offices are a 15-minute walk from the Back Bay T station on the Orange Line, and they are also accessible by several bus routes. We will most likely be able to provide free parking for all attendees, stay tuned for more information.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Send us an email at team(at)hackbeanpot(dot)com, or send us a message on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
