In addition to our work with The Food Loft coworking space, we also are very active as investors in foodtech.

Food innovation requires a depth of experience dealing with startup-level opportunities and challenges. We bring nearly a decade of experience working with foodtech teams, helping them identify their core markets, refine their business plans, accelerate their growth and connect with strategic investment capital.

We partner at the intersection of food and digital technology, investing in foodtech companies focused on digital media, ecommerce and restaurant tech. Our previous investments include an array of startups working in a number of different areas of food, including an intelligent recipe search engine, Yummly.com; a high-end restaurant delivery startup, Caviar; an advocate marketing platform for large lifestyle brands; Crowdly; and a corporate catering platform with a strong emphasis on tech, Alchemista.

We work closely with startup founders at every step of the way, providing more than just capital to maximize opportunities for growth. We've assisted our portfolio companies with a variety of value-added services, helping them evaluate and execute market expansion plans, hire and grow their teams, structure their boards, make connections to media outlets and PR professionals, and identify new investors to round out their fundraising.

We're interested in partnering with early-stage companies raising their pre-seed, seed or Series A rounds. While we only invest in specific companies that fit our thesis, we also offer investment strategy and fundraising advice to a broader range of companies in the Food Loft network.

If your startup fits into one of the below areas, or you are interested in discussing mentorship opportunities, please reach out to us at adam (at) thefoodloft (dot) com. We're also open to partnering with co-investors to syndicate deals both internally and externally. Please reach out to us if such opportunities are of interest.
